It's not the end of the world if you dont finish NaNoWriMo

Plot ran dry,

Out of time.

To much going on,

50,ooo words is to many

cant get motivated.

you just dont feel like writing,

does one of these lines sound like you?
They all sound like me, some may call them excuses but they are just how life pans out some times. People are taking on Nanowrimo this year like its some kind of life or death drama, im sorry but its not that important, while i love nanowrimo and cheer everyone one hoping they get their word count but it's ok if you dont, you still have more words and a basic novel out line that you didnt have before, you have an idea to work on at a more steady pace.

it is half way thru nano and i feel like i am dont with this novel i have spoken to numorous people who say "just run with a different stroy idea in the same word document, for me that would be cheating.

i would like to compare it to sport, like so many other things in life nanowrimo can be compared to sport.

So we have the winners, good on you guys you worked hard all season, in our case november and heaps of us hit the mark with the 50000 words, congratulations.

but there is always the losing team, the team that worked so hard and kept up with the best, but just didnt get there on the day and miss out on the little certificate, its not the end of the world, you still come out on top, it does not mean you are worse of a writer it just means something else got in the way.

But having said that we are only half way through nano and you could get your mojo back any day now, good luck to every one who is giving nano a shot. i appluad you. congrats for having the ability to write.
